I was delivering a workshop on Wednesday and thought I’d share one of the biggest takeaways... The Prospect Lifecycle.

Positive Ripple Effect

Prospect management leads to a positive ripple effect. If you nail prospect management you have a steady stream of prospects year over year over year.  Which is what we really want… not only more prospects, but more qualified prospects.

And that you can have by following the Prospect Lifecycle.

  • When you get better data, you get a stronger pipeline of prospects.

  • When you get a stronger pipeline of prospects, it turns into stronger/more qualified prospects.

  • When you get more qualified prospects, it turns into more meaningful interactions/contacts.

  • When you get more meaningful interactions, it turns into more asks.

  • More asks turns into more gifts closed and dollars raised.

  • At the end of the day you have more dollars for your mission.

And it all begins with better data. So better data = higher conversion rates = more and larger gifts closed.
