Regular check-ins with your team members are crucial. Create a safe environment where you are spending enough time recognizing the signs of burnout, such as change in mood, change in demeanor, or change in habits. Use 1:1s to proactively discuss their well-being, strengths, and areas where they may need support. Recognizing signs of burnout early on allows you to take preventive measures. Read more
A simple question can make a significant impact. You may not be able to help in that moment, but your listening is helping in that moment. Create a safe space for team members to share their struggles. By actively listening, you should be able to get to a place of helping. As leaders, prioritize facilitating these conversations, and nurturing a culture of support. Read more
